MKDS Dancers Shine in Texas!
Some of our competitive dancers hit the road this weekend and headed to the Lone Star State for two amazing dance conventions and competitions! It was a weekend filled with dance, fun and most importantly friendship.
Each convention consisted of a 2-day workshop with highly acclaimed faculty focusing on contemporary, tap, jazz, hip hop and ballet as well as an optional solo and/or duet/trio competition.
The Next Level team of Riley Stephens, Margaux Marak, Addie Rose Castleberry, Alden Lee, Jaxsen Myers, Emry Hunnicutt, Madison Dawson, Kennedy Cloe and Auburn Petty joined the seven city Art of Movement tour in Dallas, Texas. Art of Movement prides itself in providing a unique experience that "inspires dancers through challenging dance curriculum and builds their confidence by providing a supportive environment designed to encourage self-expression."
Special congratulations to Madison Dawson, Riley Stephens, and Margaux Marak for earning Art of Movement scholarship awards!
Avery Stephens, Lilly Stephens, Addie Coleman, Perry Condrey, Revell Hogan and Haryln Hogan traveled to Fort Worth, TX to participate in the 22 city Revel Dance Tour. Revel's mission is to create positive learning environments where all dancers feel celebrated and confident!
